Mick Moore is the Chief Executive Officer of the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD) and a Professorial Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), UK. He has extensive research and advisory experience in many countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and was the Director of the Centre for the Future State from 2000 to 2010. Mick is a political economist. His main research interests are the interactions between governance and politics on the one side, and finance and the economy on the other. Mick became interested in the implications of tax and revenue forthe quality of governance and development about two decades ago.
